Here’s what runners just like you are saying:

5 Core Values at Stride

Not running is not an option

For most injuries, stopping running isn’t necessary—and may even hinder your recovery. We understand that the thought of being told to stop running is why many hesitate to seek help in the first place. While some conditions, like stress fractures, may require temporary rest, most injuries improve with a strategic approach to continued running. We prioritize keeping you active while healing, so you stay strong and engaged.

Running Rehab is More Than Exercises

Running injuries require a comprehensive approach. It’s not just about exercises; factors like training load, running form, and running-specific strength must be addressed. These aren’t typically taught in school or covered by insurance—but they’re essential for true recovery. We go beyond the basics, diving deep into your unique movement patterns and running habits to provide expert, tailored care that drives meaningful results.

Guide, Not Fix

We don’t “fix” you—we empower you to fix yourself. True, lasting change requires more than passive treatments. Instead of relying solely on manual therapy or quick fixes, we guide you step-by-step with clear, consistent communication. You’ll gain the knowledge and tools to take control of your recovery and performance for the long haul.

Consistency is Key

Progress in running—and rehab—depends on consistency. It’s how your body grows, adapts, and builds strength over time. Consistent effort minimizes setbacks, fosters confidence, and ensures steady progress toward your goals. We work with you to build a plan you can stick to, ensuring that consistency becomes your superpower.

Adaptability is Essential

No two runners—or injuries—are the same. Rehab isn’t one-size-fits-all, and there are countless ways to move, strengthen, and run differently. We adapt your program to fit your life, your tools, and your unique needs as a runner. When something doesn’t work, we pivot quickly, providing solutions that keep you on track without missing a beat.

FAQ

  • No, I do not take insurance. This allows me to provide the highest quality, personalized care without the restrictions imposed by insurance companies. Many of the services runners need—like gait analysis, running-specific strength assessments, and deep dives into training plans—aren’t covered by insurance.

Also, they do not pay for any of the exclusives included in our PT package which again would be less value for you

By operating outside the insurance system, I can focus entirely on what’s best for you, not what’s reimbursable. This approach ensures we spend our time addressing your goals, not jumping through administrative hoops.

However, I can still accept HSA and FSA or provide you with a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I encourage you to check with your provider to understand your coverage.

If you have additional questions, feel free to reach out—I’m happy to help!
